Celebrating 10 Years of PCNOW — Gratitude and Sharing the Love

PCNOW 10th Anniversary
A Closing Reflection of Gratitude and Love

By Tina Jessick, PCNOW Executive Assistant

As we close PCNOW’s 10th anniversary year, I find myself reflecting less on milestones and more on the people who have quietly made PCNOW the trusted resource it is today.

Having worked with PCNOW for over two years, I’ve come to truly understand the depth of commitment within this community and their shared passion for advancing high-quality hospice and palliative care resources. Over this anniversary year, I’ve been especially moved by the generosity, dedication, and humility of our authors, reviewers, board members, donors, and supporters—those who freely give their time, knowledge, and energy simply to help others provide compassionate, patient-centered care within the field.

This milestone year has been a celebration of gratitude and love—recognizing the countless ways this community gives and supports one another. From publishing and updating Fast Facts that clinicians rely on, to the special $10,000 one-time scholarships awarded in honor of PCNOW’s 10th anniversary, each effort reflects the spirit of generosity, passion, and commitment that has built PCNOW over the past decade.

What stands out most to me is the quiet, steadfast dedication that runs through this community. PCNOW exists because people commit themselves—steadily, thoughtfully, and generously—to advancing compassionate, high-quality hospice and palliative care resources.

To everyone who has contributed to PCNOW over these ten years: thank you. It has been an honor to witness your commitment, and I am deeply grateful to continue supporting this incredible community as we move forward together.

With gratitude,

Tina Jessick
